With a desire to create content that entertains and enlightens, Romis Film Group has grown from being a Post-Production Studio to become a full featured In-House Production Studio capable of handling projects of all sizes. Our staff is made up of creative individuals who are passionate about making a difference through the art and business of motion pictures. With a wide-ranging track record in theatrical feature films, television movies, short films, commercials, and feature length documentaries the Group strives to push the limits of what a film production company can do.
We are proud that our production company FocusFox became a very significant place of the contemporary Hungarian filmmaking. Most of our films are participants and often winners of prestigious international film festivals. One of our last productions, 'Strangled' won the Best film Grand Prize as well as 9 other categories at the Hungarian Film Award in 2017, and became the most viewed Hungarian motion picture in 2016.
The Group is also prepared to take a co-production role in the films it gets involved in, depending on individual agreements with the particular productions, the needs of the project and whether the film fits the Group’s profile. One of our last co-productions “It’s not the time of my love” won Crystal Globe for the Best film at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in 2016, and became the second most viewed Hungarian motion picture in 2016.
